Comment

The project for the creation of the Center for the construction of large-tonnage offshore structures is being implemented in the village of Belokamenka, Murmansk Region (Territory of advanced socio-economic development "Capital of the Arctic") in accordance with the directive of the government of the Russian Federation. The project has the status of a strategic investment project, as well as a large-scale investment project of the Murmansk region. The project proponent is OOO NOVATEK-Murmansk. The Center will enable the construction of offshore modular complexes for the production, storage and shipment of liquefied natural gas and stable gas condensate on reinforced concrete gravity-based structures (GBS). The project has 3 main directions: production of reinforced concrete GBS, production of modules for natural gas liquefaction lines, and production of pipeline sections. Besides, the Center will have infrastructure facilities, residential and administrative premises. The construction of the Center began in 2017, the GBS production line has already been launched.
