Comment

The project envisages the construction of a methanol hydrogenation technology-based gas chemical complex in the Bukhara Region. Planned capacity: processing = 1.5 billion cubic meters of natural gas per year; production = 720 thousand tonnes of polymers (polyethylene terephthalate, polypropylene, low-density polyethylene, ethylene-vinyl acetate). Operator and majority investor: JV LLC Jizzakh Petroleum. Project financing: $2.8 billion, including $800 million (indicatively) to be provided by PJSC Gazprombank and VEB.RF.
