The Belarusian Nuclear Power Plant construction project (AES-2006, 3+ type) envisages the construction of a two-unit nuclear power plant featuring VVER-1200 reactors with a total capacity of 2400 MW and construction of related infrastructure: a residential camp for workers, access roads, power lines, etc. Contractor: Engineering division of the State Corporation Rosatom. Start of construction operations: 2013. The first unit: launch in 2020, commissioning in 2021. The second unit: launch in 2021, commissioning in 2022. Financing: credit facility from the Russian Government ($10 billion).
