The project envisages the development of the Shah Deniz gas condensate field (Phase 2) as part of the efforts aimed to create the Southern Gas Transport Corridor. The project is aimed at boosting gas production to enable gas supplies to Turkey (6 billion cubic meters) and Europe (10 billion cubic meters). The offshore infrastructure of the field includes 26 subsea wells, 500 km of subsea pipelines, two platforms with a bridge crossing, and subsea gas pipelines for transporting gas to the Sangachal terminal. Project participants: BP (operator, 28.8%), Petronas (15,5%), SOCAR (16,7%), ЛУКОЙЛ (10%), NICO (10%), TPAO (19%), and also raised loan proceeds.
