Comment

The project is aimed at reconstructing the Baku-Astara railway line (243 km) within the construction of the North-South international transport corridor. The planned scope of work: replacement of a single-track road with a double-track one, electrification, transfer of a section of the railway. Financing: Government of Azerbaijan ($20 million). Under consideration: loan from Asian Development Bank ($150 million).
